• Statement of Purpose
• Two recommendation letters for master’s applications, three for doctoral applications
• English proficiency test results (TOEFL IBT score of 80 or higher; IELTS is not accepted in Turkey)

How to Apply to Master or Ph.D. Programs at Koç University

To apply to Koç University’s graduate programs as an international student, you need to complete an online application form.

• Application Process: Complete the online application form on the relevant Graduate School website. Applications with missing documents will not be considered. No need for a separate scholarship application; apply to the program(s) of your choice at Koç University Graduate School. Scholarship decisions are based on academic merit. The application process is free, except for Master’s programs without a thesis in the Graduate School of Business.
• Graduate Online Application Form: Submit your application through the online system.

Graduate Application Checklist

• Eligibility: Ensure you meet the specific admission requirements for your program of interest (GPA, eligible undergraduate majors, research experience, GRE and TOEFL minimum scores).
• Documents: Prepare and submit all required documents including Statement of Purpose, CV, transcripts, diplomas, TOEFL scores (IBT 80 or higher), GRE or GMAT scores, and recommendation letters (2 for Master’s, 3 for Ph.D.).
• Contacting Faculty: For Ph.D. applicants in Science, Engineering, and Health Sciences, consider contacting a potential supervisor. No need to contact faculty for programs in Social Sciences or Business Administration.
• Document Preparation: Ensure all documents are in English or include a certified English translation. Documents should be uploaded to the online application; do not email them.
